- Do you have to be Catholic to be buried at this cemetery?
This is a Diocesan cemetery but we bury anyone who has a connection to one
of the faithful because we don't want to exclude family members.
- Do I have to pay all the money up front?
No. We have no-interest plans with a reasonable down payment and monthly payments.
- Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, VISA and MasterCard.
- Is mausoleum or in-ground the least expensive?
Either of them can be less expensive depending on the choices made. Mausoleum
is a premium form of burial and is more line the with Biblical practices than
in-ground.
- Are there ground spaces available at the cemeteries?
Both Resurrection Cemetery and Holy Cross have lots of space available. St.
Andrews and Mt. Calvary cemeteries have fewer spaces, but we are able to provide
some burials at this point.
- Do all spaces in your cemeteries cost the same?
No, there are many variables that make some spaces more desirable. They are
priced accordingly.
- Are people of all nationalities welcome?
The Diocese makes a special effort for all of the faithful to feel welcome.
At Resurrection we have just opened Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine with a view
of providingHispanic people with a place that honors their heritage
- Can I get graves near my family?
At Resurrection Cemetery this is usually possible. The other cemeteries are
more difficult in their older sections.
- Do you have provisions for cremations?
Yes. We have niches for cremation in our mausoleums, and we also
bury cremains in the ground.
- Can more than one person be buried in a singe grave?
We will bury one full-body and one cremation, or two cremations in a single
grave. There is a fee for the second burial.
